What can I say, this album is a classic and should be listened to by all. The guitar riffs on every single recording are simply executed but utterly amazing. Most rock and roll bands of today all take from Led Zeppelin and this album is a prime example of amazing arrangement of guitar, bass, drums and vocals. Considering this album was released in 1969 it has aged very well. I could listen to this record over and over again. It is extremely difficult to pick a favourite, but if I had to choose one it would be "Ramble On" since it is tied in with Lord of the Rings, and who doesn't love rock and fantasy contained in one medium? Listen to Moby Dick!!

The LP is Available on E-bay for: 25:00$

Coming soon: Booker T. & The M.G.'s - "McLemore Avenue"

Welcome to Vinyl67

What I plan to do with this site, is to pick records randomly from my Dad's vinyl collection and review them. I will also include other pieces of information such as guitar tabs, biography, recording information, trivia, links, pictures, etc. whatever I think will be of interest to the avid reader.

The main reason behind this concept site came from a discussion I had with a friend on the subject of why I listen to the local oldies station. I find that listening to top 50 radio the same songs are heard over and over again. When listening to the oldies station I find the music played refreshing!
